Jennifer Hammer

Jennifer has over 25 years work experience in public accounting and industry. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration and her Master’s of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1997 and 1998, respectively. She is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Texas. She is also a Quickbooks Certified Proadvisor.

During her career, Jennifer has served as an auditor of companies ranging from billion dollar multi-national companies to small non-profit companies. After joining industry, she has managed all aspects of accounting for both private and publicly held companies.

She has experience in the following areas: 

• Internal and external financial reporting 
• Accounting systems implementation, standardization and training 
• Audit preparation and facilitation 
• Documentation and testing of business processes and internal controls 
• Supervise functional accounting areas including General Ledger, Billing and Payroll 
• Identification and implementation of process improvements 
• Accounting for debt, leases and derivatives 
• Account analysis and reconciliation 
• Documentation of policies, procedures and accounting training manuals 
• Audits of oil & gas, oilfield service, non-profit and other service companies 

In August 2005, Jennifer joined an environmental services company as an accounting manager where she remained until July 2010. Prior to the environmental services company, she was employed at a startup company formed to acquire and consolidate electrical contracting service companies. Jennifer started her career at a Big Four accounting firm as an auditor.
